Letter of Recommendation
Dr. Myers is happy to support his students by writing letters of recommendation for them. He can write the strongest letters of recommendation for students who have had at least two courses with him, who have worked with him on their culminating experience project, is or has been a member of the CLAP lab, and/or has served as his undergraduate research assistant. He regularly provides letters of recommendation for graduate or law school, for employment, for grants or fellowships, and for government-sponsored employment opportunities.
Students seeking a letter of recommendation from Dr. Myers should request such a letter via email (wmyers@ut.edu) and include as attachments the following information:
The deadine for the letter.
A description of the position or opportunity for which the student intends to apply.
A copy of any personal statement or statement of application.
A copy of the student's resume or CV.
A copy of the student's unofficial transcript.
Students should provide Dr. Myers with at least a two-week notice of the deadline for any letter of recommendation.
