My name is William Myers and I am an Associate Professor of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Tampa. My office is located at 106 Kennedy Boulevard Building, which is adjacent to the Starbucks on the ground floor of the Innovation and Collaboration Building.

I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Michigan State University and a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

My research focuses on judicial politics, federalism, and political behavior in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ghana, and the European Union.

My work has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed outlets including The Journal of Politics, The American Public Administration Review, Political Behavior, Political Research Quarterly, Democratization, and many others.

My teaching is centered in American and comparative politics with emphasis on judicial politics, constitutional law, as well as law and policy.

Additionally, I direct the CLAP Lab, which is how I help students interested in building data science skills and engaging in policy-relevant research.
